Improve Your Eyesight

Eye Exercise is important

We all know that physical activity is very important for our bodies. This is true at any age, but perhaps, particularly as we get older. For example, regular, weight bearing, physical exercise throughout our life and into older age, reduces the likelihood and severity of osteoporosis, and makes us less likely to succumb to many other age related illnesses.

Unless you are in a job demanding hard physical work,  it is not enough to be “active all day”, or “on your feet all day” and say that we have had adequate exercise. Good exercise for the average person should get the heart and respiratory rate up (cardiovascular) , have weight bearing elements, be of an adequate duration, and take place at least several times a week - leaving us feeling healthier and fitter.

Our eyes are the same. We cannot call “using them all day” eye exercise. Good eye exercise is deliberate, planned, and specific to the needs of your eyes. This exercise program does just that for your eyes. it is great for older age reading blur, and lazy eye, short or near sighted and cross eye.

Eye Exercises Can Change our Vision

In the past it was believed that past the age of about 8 years of age our vision could not be changed. This is no longer the case. It is now understood that the vision of adults is plastic or trainable.

The Eye Gym provides an excellent method of improving the muscle and lens function, but can also help in retraining the brain’s way of “seeing” and how it processes data.

Note

It is important to remember that specialist and medical support is particularly important for cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetes. If you suspect your vision problems may be associated with any of these issues, it is important that you seek medical or specialist assessment.

Of course, appropriate eye exercises can benefit everybody.
